Opportunities
WEC is truly an international mission with members from many nationalities. Together we celebrate the fact that God is at work and on the move. Mission is now from anywhere to everywhere, involving new partnerships that span languages, cultures. Our missionaries serve in multicultural teams around the world.
Our focus of activity varies hugely, according to what those ‘on the ground’ sense God wants to do in the local context.

I can promise you that being involved in missions will be a life changing experience.
Here is what some other people have said about missions;
“If Jesus Christ be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him.”
“Christ wants not nibblers of the possible, but grabbers of the impossible.” — C.T. Studd
“God isn’t looking for people of great faith, but for individuals ready to follow Him” — Hudson Taylor
“If you take missions out of the Bible, you won’t have anything left but the covers” — Nina Gunter
Have you ever endured a sleepless night because of a decision you have made? An elderly Christian father of a local pastor died. He had royal blood. In spite of much tension the Christians agreed to let his body be buried by the king, in order to prevent a civil war. He arrived to take the body with a large group of well armed men.
This encouraged the king, who decided to close all Kaan churches. He threatened that if anyone attended church they would be killed. Eileen explains the difficult decisions that followed, “We approached the highest civil authority we could, the governor, who gave us permission to meet. However, we were told late on Saturday night that the governor had changed his mind. This is where I had my sleepless night. Despite the death threat, I felt God move me to advise the Church President to tell the Christians to meet, and we called the national church to prayer.”
The King of Kings intervened on their behalf. The governor, angry for being misrepresented, sent riot police to protect the Christians. The national church continued to fast and pray, and peace prevailed. To God be the glory!
